Fish are starting to lay down on their beds. Should be spawning before long. Anglers are having some luck with Bluegill and Red ear in the shallows with night crawlers. Still have not heard much about the Catfish and Bass have been taken with lures and spinners as well as worms. Crappie have slowed down this last week.

Fishing here at Santa Margarita has been well this last week. Bass have been hitting on buzz baits as well as night crawlers. Crappie are still doing well off of nibbles and worms. Saturday was a good day for bluegill as well as red ear, as big as 2 plus pounds off of worms near-the bank at the marina. ...... Read More
