The East Walker has really been fishing well this last few days. We've had some great reports on streamers, dries as well as nymphs. After the lake thawed out the water temps went up a few degrees and that seems to have made all the difference. Some of the patterns that are hitting well are fox's poopah, nori's caddis, birds nest, rainbow warriors for the nymphs. Conehead zuddlers, zonkers, sculpin patterns for the streamers. Rubberleg stimulators, blue winged olives and parachute adams for the dries. Both sides of the border have been fishing equally well, though it seems the Cali side is producing most of the 20" plus fish. There are a pretty fair number of those showing up too, which always makes things a little more interesting!

Todd Sceirine put about 125 big rainbows in on his ranch in Nevada yesterday, so they should be settled in by now and biting well. The ranch isn't getting too much pressure so if you're interested in a little private water that's a good bet.

Also, if you're in need of some guide assistance, Andrew, Nick and Scott are all ready to get you in to some killer fish, they've been on the water down there a lot lately and have it all dialed in! Just give us a call at 760-932-7707 and we'll get you hooked up!

barnacle - The only marine species of any size whose reported accumulation in significant numbers on a deep-sea fishing boat can be accepted without the need for independent verification.
