Located along the Colorado River about 12 miles below of Hoover Dam, Willow beach is a popular destination for anglers pursuing large striped bass and rainbow trout. With completion of repairs to its cold water intake system, the Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery is hoping to resume regular trout stocking activities as early as Feb. 2017. Rainbow trout will take night crawlers, PowerBait and other commercial trout baits along with lures and spinners. Striper fishermen find success with anchovies, swim baits and shad imitations.
