Eight mule deer were illegally killed and left to waste over the course of three weeks in September near Mount Charleston, outraging the sporting and nonsporting public alike.

Since the original announcement, individuals and organizations have come forward to increase the reward offered for anyone with information to help solve the crime.

The latest donation was $10,000 offered by Nevada Bighorns Unlimited (NBU), bringing the total reward to $18,000, one of the largest rewards ever offered in Nevada for a wildlife case.

This week we sit down with Chief Game Warden Tyler Turnipseed and Andrew MacKay and Steve Hall, from NBU, to discuss the case and the reward.
