As of this writing, the rain was falling hard, and the North Coast Rivers were on the way up and looking like they would probably blow out by Tuesday morning. The Trask will probably be back in shape by mid to late week, and should be good through the weekend. It’s a little early for steelhead on the Trask but a few are showing up, and there may be a few stray hatchery fish from the Wilson River as well. Be looking for new fish to show up as the water drops this week.

Chinook fishing is mostly done on the Trask, although there may still be a few late fish around.
