The Wilson is a little high but is still fishable, and some hatchery winter steelhead are starting to show up in the lower drifts. Fishing should continue to improve as the water drops this week.

Most North Coast rivers are about done for fall Chinook. However, the Wilson is known for having some later fish, and it’s not uncommon to catch bright salmon well into December.
