Bridgeport Reservoir Fishing Report

Bridgeport Reservoir - Bridgeport, CA (Mono County)

Bridgeport is still a bit on the tough side with most reports coming in at about 3 to 6 fish per angler. Bait fishing has been the best from boats along the backside of the lake with powerbait and inflated crawlers. Trollers are doing the best with small rapalas, needlefish and blades/crawlers. Haven't heard anything from the fly anglers lately though I'd expect the best thing there would be to strip or troll some streamers with an intermediate line. As the weather cools more and more the water clarity will improve and as the bugs quit hatching the fish should be more inclined to be on the hunt for larger food.
