Slightly cooler air temps have improved the bass bite, as a nice frog bite is beginning to kick in. Largemouth were also taking jigs, drop shot, and blades fished just outside of the grass lines all over the lake. Both crappie, and red ear action picked up as well, and either drifting, or trotting small spoons, and spinners in the White Oak area produced some nice catches. As far as catfish, once again local angler Michael got big fish honors with a 21.4 blue that fell for a chicken liver off the the fishing dock just north of the marina.
