Apologies for not doing any reports lately, we've had very little traffic on the river this winter so far so there hasn't been too many anglers to talk to. This past week has produced a little more traffic compared to last month though it's still very light. It seems like the fishing is pretty similar to what was going on back in November, there's some decent numbers of rainbows hanging out in the "Miracle Mile" section and some good numbers of browns still running down between the bridge and Murphy's Pond. We're not hearing about any really epic days down there but most anglers are getting into some nice fish for their time. Due tot he colder weather the best time of day to fish is going to be from about 10 am to around 3 pm or so. Small midge and nymph patterns are going to be your best bet or possibly a dry/dropper rig. Patterns to try include: copper john, flashback emerge, zebra midge, dark lord, miracle midge, wd-40, pheasant tail, stimulator and madam x.
