Bridgeport is starting to perk up quite a bit this past week with fish up to just over 7 pounds making a showing. The big one was caught trolling but there's lots of nice fish coming in from bait anglers who are anchoring their boats in shallow water over towards Rainbow Point and out in the middle just South of the public launch ramp. Lots of nice 15 to 18 inch fish being caught with a few in the 3 to 4 pound range as well. We're also getting a few reports of some nice fish being caught from shore down near the Bathtub on towards the dam. Bait anglers are using mice tails, power bait and crawlers, trollers are using thomas bouyants, rapalas and blade/crawler rigs.
