Great bite in Mammoth Basin

Mammoth Lakes Basin

by Nor Cal Fish Reports
7-22-2015

Trout bite isn’t slowing. Lake Mary and Lake George are by far the top spots in the basin. Power Worms or Mice Tails fished early in the morning or late in the afternoon work best. Fish the drop-offs. Joshua Suzuki of Los Angeles caught a 6.6 pound rainbow from the shore of Mary with a Mice Tail. David Smiten of L.A. had 12.2 pound rainbow from Mary with a Mice Tail offered from shore. Bob Chandler of Bakersfield trolled in Mary for a 7 pounder and 5.8 pounder.
