Striper bite continues to improve. Boaters are doing the best. Trolling in 60 to 80 feet of water with broken back Rapalas or Lucky Crafts. There is a top water bite in the morning or any time an angler can find a shad boil. Forebay bank anglers get action in the evening. Stripers are in the 20 to 25 inch range. Pile worms, shad, anchovies, blood worms are the baits to use. Coyote Bait & Tackle annual striper derby is on through Jan. 1. Current leader is a 29.12 pounder.
