Truckee needs a snow dance but the mild weather has kept the fishing good

Can someone please do a snow dance? Feels more like early October than November in the greater Truckee-Tahoe-Reno area on the Truckee River. I think everyone in Truckee is a little anxious. Our town revolves around snow. The mild weather has kept the fishing good though. Fish are all spread out. Pocket water, riffles, deep slow stuff, all over. That will change with colder weather, but for now fish the whole river like you normally would in the fall. It's still a baetis party and you should be well stocked with all you favorite micro may type flies. Fishing has gotten a bit tougher with clear- lower flows, and most good spots still crowded. We need some weather to move some fish around, blow the river out for a few days type thing. Watch out for brown trout redds. They'll likely be in tailouts, and side channels. Basically in any place that's easy to cross the river, look down and see if there's any gravel that looks like it has been raked out, if so wade somewhere else.
