Rick Powers called in with this report & announcement for the New Sea Angler. "We had 35 anglers on the boat today. Yesterday we fished Rockcod first & we limited out on the Rockfish & had a nice Lingcod catch plus full limits of Dungeness. Today (Sunday) we had some wind in the morning so we ran right out to the crab gear and got on that right away. We pulled 11 crab pots for 210 Dungeness Crabs to 3 lbs. The average crab is going 2 lbs. They are hard and filled with meat, excellent, excellent quality Dungeness Crab. These are the biggest crabs I have seen for a crab opener in 10 years. The wind picked up by the time we got to the last pot that we needed. So we opted to come back in and give the customers a pass to come back on another day. so everyone left the boat with a nice fat limit of Dungeness Crabs & a pass to come back for another day.

"We have plenty of space on weekdays this week for our Dungeness Crab/Rockcod/Lingcod combo trips. Weather conditions look good starting Tuesday. If you are interested in information or reservations call 707-875-3495."
