2013 R2Sea Open garuentees $10,000 to top five places - PLUS a chance at a new vehicle

Richmond, CA - For the most part, all of the major circuits will have completed their schedules, and just about all TOC's will be in the history books.

What usually follows after that is a dreaded four month long hiatus that seems to last forever as diehard bass anglers sit at home, wishing they had just one more chance at some late fall action and exciting competition before the gear is put away for the winter.

And if the above sceniaro sounds familiar to you, you just may want to "hold the date" for an exciting last-of-the-season event that is sure to send you off to the winter "hibernation" with some great memories as the second annual River2Sea Open comes back to the California Delta November 2nd and 3rd, going out of Ladd's Marina in Stockton, California.

With late fall in full swing, the water temperatures will cool off to levels that trigger delta bass to voraciously feed up for the winter on fast-moving baits, making the California delta with its miles and miles of rocky levies, the perfect environment for the great variety of baits River2Sea has to offer.

Crankbaits, swimbaits, spinnerbaist, along with top water lures are just a few of the outstanding baits River2Sea produces, and those in-the-know will quickly tell you that these baits are just not "hype" - they really catch fish.

"All I can say is that the R2Sea 'S-Wavers' I have in my box will get a good work out during this event", noted an anxious Dale Burkett who has depended on the S-Wavers unique and erratic swimming action to stay "in the money" at many of the events he has fished in this year.

A Challenging Format
The River2Sea Open will be a two-day team format event where the winning team will be crowned based on the heaviest weight for a ten fish, 2-day limit of bass.

The challenge.....anglers will only be able to use the baits that River2Sea produces - with the exception of being able to use their any soft plastic they desire - as long as they are weighted with a River2Sea brand weight or skirted jigs and jigheads.

Simon Chan, President, and CEO of River2Sea, noted that in addition to the sheer fun of a late fall event, this event has been designed to give back to the tournament angler, giving them more value for their money - a principle that is one of the major driving forces in their product development process.

"River2Sea has always worked hard to produce quality baits that anglers can put their confidence in a can depend on day in and day out" Chan noted. "The anglers and their support for our products are a key factor in our growing success and this event is one way for us to give something back, as we continue to grow our brand".

Big Payday
Participants will be pleased with the fact that the 2013 River2Sea Open will again feature a low, $150 team entry fee along with a $20 big fish option, a one-in-five, 80% payback and get this...a GUARANTEE of $10,000 cash distributed out to the top 5 places!

In addition special feature have been added to enhance the fun such as:

A special bonus prize for the event's largest legal striped bass weighed-in
HUGE free raffle!
Participants 12 and under receive a free gift Battle of the Bass Clubs - where the highest finishing club receives a $250 cash bonus!
Anglers will receive a free raffle ticket in exchange for each package of River2Sea product they turn in at the on-site registration.

And remember, the top 25 teams will automatically qualify for the inaugural Coors Light Delta Open Teams Series Championship event that will be held on the California Delta in late June of 2014, where only 100 teams will for compete for the keys to a Jeep Patriot!

This is going to be an event for the ages....and one that is just around the corner...so get your entry in today!

See you all there!
