The West is still fishing excellent! The water is low and clear so you may find that you have to walk past some water to find the deeper pools where there are fish hanging out, but it'll be worth the walk. Fly anglers are using hopper/dropper rigs and having great success, bait anglers are using salmon eggs, crawlers and power eggs. Lure fishermen are having good luck with mepps, panther martins and rooster tails.
