Marina hours are 7 am to 5 pm the park hours are 7 am to 6 pm. Our last Trout plant of 3900 lbs. was 10 days ago. It seems that after this last plant. fishing was a little slow to pick up but as of this week, fishing has picked up rather well bringing in some nice Trout, Bass and Stripers in the 9 lb., 8 lb., 7 lb., 6 and 5 lb. range. The water temperature is at 50 degrees. Our fishermen have been using a wide range of bait Power bait Eggs in White, Rainbow and Green along with Berkley Gulp Floating Worms in Fluorescent colors and White, Yellow, Yellow/Green, Pink, Orange, Yellow/Orange and Chart. Power bait Corn, Kastmasters, Rupalas, Walley Divers, Pencil Popers, Berkley Power bait Trout Attractant and trout dip in Corn, Garlic, and Rue and Night Crawlers. With our overcast weather we noticed that the Rapalas in the darker colors are doing well. Trolling and Bait fishermen are pulling in their limits with shore fishing just recently picking back up. If you plan on boating, early is best. As a reminder, we have a half off special on all boats on an all day boat rental every Wednesday. Willy Lemp of San Carlos caught 15 Trout with most weighing 4 lbs. in the Southend on 12/09/10. Ron Cruz of Vallejo caught 5 trouts, the largest weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. in the Narrows and out in the Southend on 12/11/10. Darrel Hill of San Jose caught 3 trouts with the weighs at 3 lbs. 14 oz., 5 lbs. 12 oz., 3 lbs. 12 oz. using Kastmasters in the East Beach on 12/11/10. Jeremy Selbach of San Jose caught 5 trouts with the weight of the stringer at 14 lbs., the largest weighed 4 lbs. using Kastmasters at the East Beach on 12/11/10. David Franz of Manteca caught a 7 lbs. 14 oz. trout at the end of the Narrows using a Rapala on 12/12/10. Massud Amin of Fremont caught a 9 lb. trout in the lower Narrows with Night Crawlers on 12/15/10. Nicholas Bassett caught a Black Bass using worms in the Cove on 12/12/10. Massud Amin of Fremont caught a 6 lb. Bass using worms in the lower Narrows on 12/15/10. Jack and Jason of San Antonio Valley caught 2 Stripers with the weight of the stringer weighing 18 lbs. using pencil popers in the Southend on 12/14/10. Adam Valle of Brentwood caught an 8 lbs. 14 oz. Catfish using Power bait eggs and worms in the lower Narrows on 12/10/10.

Marina hours are from 7 am to 5 pm and the park hours are 7 am to 5 pm. We just had a 3000 lb. Trout plant on December 2 and a 750 lb. Trout plant on November 30. Trout fishing has been amazing.
