East Carson River Fishing Report

Truckee River Outfitters

Report Date:

Flows are down to 66 CFS. This is actually really good for this time of year. There have been a lot of fish caught on dry flies over the past week. Hoppers are still working as are orange stimulators which is usually used as an October Caddis imitation. Trico nymphs which are just anything very small and black are catching fish subsurface and can be fished with an indicator or as a dropper with a floating hopper pattern. A stealthy approach is a must as the water continues to drop over the next month or so.
