A modest number of steelhead are being caught in the Feather River, reported John Lackey at Feather River Outfitters in Oroville. "the steelhead fishing has been fair since the water dropped", said Lackey. "Best bet has been fly-fishing, with egg patterns, glo-bugs and nymphs working best. The low-flow section has been best, and some adult steelies are showing up near the Thermalito Afterbay Outlet behind the spawning salmon.??
