JUNE LAKE LOOP

Water Conditions: Good
Conditions are good at June, Gull, and Silver Lakes. Grant lake is low, and the water temps are high. Rush Creek is running low and clear, with higher temps downstream of Grant Lake.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Fish have had a lot of pressure over the last few weeks and the catching has slowed down a bit. Try showing them something they haven't seen all summer. Yellow and red streamers are a good choice along the weed beds at Silver lake. Callibaetis and Damsel patterns have been good mid morning. Gull Lake has been fishing good with a variety of nymphs and midge patterns. The evening has been good for dry fly fishing on Rush Creek, with good Caddis hatches. Adams iresistibles are... simply irresistible. June Lake has been decent trolling or stripping Wooly buggers.

Recommended Flies:

STREAMERS- #6-10 Olive, Black, yellow and red Wooly Bugger, #8-12 Olive Matuka, #12 Twin Lakes Special

NYMPHS- #14-20 Hares Ear, #14-20 Pheasant tail, #16-22 Tiger midge, #18-22 WD-40
