Bass tournament was July 24th (night) netted 7Ib plus as the winner. Tournament goers are not noted for giving their secrets out so that will be a mystery for now. Other fishermen have been doing well with the typical crank and swim baits as well as artificial worms. The Narrows received a good part of the action lately for all species of fish in the shallow and coves.

Fishing has been steady. Pan fish has been caught in the coves at the Narrows off of worms. Small chrome spinners, as well as Crappie jigs are being caught with either meal worm, redworm or nibbles. Busy week for fishing. Bass, although they are small, have been biting on various baits just about all over the lake. Pan fish and Crappie are mostly still hitting in the coves on nightcrawlers and jigs. Not much has been heard about the bluegill and red ear.
