Still much of the same. For the catfish use anchovies, sardines, mackerel, chicken livers. The boat launch has been the best bite so far. Crappie are starting to bite. You will find the smaller ones from the shoreline for the big ones try Scow Canyon around the reeds and various covers. We had an angler catch a couple of trout early morning fishing deep.

Pat Vigil of Red Hook Adventures caught a couple of trout fishing early in the morning on 7-8- 18.

Ryan La Coste of Berkeley caught a carp weighing 7.5 lips using a nightcrawler on the handicapped dock on 7-13-18.

Park Information

San Pablo Recreation area is open daily the month of July from 6:00am — 8:00 p.m. Boats having to be off the water at 7:00 p.m. The cafe is open, Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 4 pm.
