The flows on the East are down to around 25o cfs right now and the river is still fishing pretty well. The water temps are increasing a bit so from about 11:00 or 12:00 to around 5:00 or 6:00 is getting to be a tough time of day. Earlier in the day and later in the evening is the best time to be down there. Caddis nymphs and small midge patterns on the bottom are still the bread and butter flies on the river right now, we haven’t heard any news on streamers and just a little good news on dries. Some evenings the caddis come off great in the evening and the fish are looking up for them, this hasn’t been happening every evening but if you’re down there and ready with a dry fly rig you might get in on the bite.
