Bass doing fair going after crank baits as well as swim baits. Pan fish such as Bluegill and Red Ear biting on worms and catfish improving huffing on mackeral in the coves. Crappie has slowed down some.

Biggest story for this week is Catfish. We are earing more about anglers hooking onto nice size and several Catfish. One fellow indicted he had yellow fin tuna getting freezer burn so guess what! Caught 6 Catfish day before. Biggest one about 18 pounds. Bass still hitting but not as often. Crappie seem to have disappeared but Bluegill and Red ear are doing well in shallow water with worms. ...... Read More

Fish are starting to lay down on their beds. Should be spawning before long. Anglers are having some luck with Bluegill and Red ear in the shallows with night crawlers. Still have not heard much about the Catfish and Bass have been taken with lures and spinners as well as worms. Crappie have slowed down this last week. ...... Read More
