Today we fished Shasta Lake for German browns and rainbows.  The morning bite was great and we even experienced a triple hook up on our first pass.  We got about three passes in before dropping our spoons down 25'-35'.  Things slowed down rather early, but we kept at it and it paid off!  Richard hooked the biggest fish of the day, a nice multi pound German brown on a Mack's Tackle 4" UV Sling Blade and a custom spoon.  The bite never resumed and the trout we were marking early, disappeard.  Thats fishing!  It was still a great day and the weather was perfect!  Looking forward to spring, but in the meantime, I'll just keep chasing these beautiful Shasta Lake trout!  All the lakes are fishing good now so if you want to get into some Kokanee salmon or trout, lets get a trip planned for you!  Tight Lines!
