San Vicente Reservoir Fishing Report

by Fish Reports Staff

Bass fishing starting to really come on as of late, with most fish moving up and back into cuts, and coves all over the lake. Fly-lined plastics have been working well when it's flat, and when the winds starts look to your favorite reaction bait to get the job done. Some of the lakes larger Bluegills bit for anglers at the end of courtesy dock on drop shotted nightcrawlers. No Crappie were reported to the marina last week. As far as catfish, many anglers were seeing them visually but had a tough time getting them to bite, with the exception of lake regular Jeff Green of El Cajon, who connected with a 17 lbs rat on cut Mackerel.
