No major changes in flows yet on the Truckee River.

Still pretty big, but the fishing is good.

Mostly nymphing and streamer fishing. The streamer fishing has been pretty good the last couple weeks. Big and nasty, think sculpins and crayfish. Nymphing is always good. Good nymphs are-green drakes, golden stones, march browns, baetis, worms, and crayfish. Attractor nymphs are good too. Copper johns, princes, and stuff like that. Nymph up under the indo, or on a tight line rig. Now is also a good time to throw big foamy dry fly type shit. Chubbys and stuff like that. Hang a nymph or two off the back.

So pretty good fishing all in all. It’s only going to get better and better as the flows drop. It’s about 2,800 now in the Hirsch, normal would be under 1,000 cfs.
