Luckily the rain hasn't affected the water clarity. Trout are still shallow (about 5ft) and close to shore (7-10ft range). Boaters have been giving more feedback then shore fisherman in the past few days, and they are killing it out there!! Whether you are fishing from shore or bait fishing by boat Power Bait, Mice Tails, and Night Crawlers are still working best. Not many people have been fishing the Dam area, but those that are have been doing well. The Dock has been producing better at night once the lights come on. We also had a last minute change to the Fish Sniffer's Nor Cal Trout Anglers Challenge and they will be returning to Amador this April 29th!!!! Check out their webpage for more details. Don't forget to check us out on Facebook for more catches and details!
