GENERAL CONDITIONS

The water temperature is between 50-55 degrees, and a little muddy. Fishing has been good.

CATFISH

Catfish has slowed down. Try fishing at Channel Point or from a boat with chicken liver.

TROUT

Trout fishing has picked up. Anglers are catching them with anything shiny, lures or power bait. Mostly anywhere around the lake.

BASS

Black Bass has been biting with artificial baits or lures anywhere around the lake.

CATCHES REPORTED:

Mark Silva caught a 5lb. 12oz. Trout with power bait from a boat.

Water temp has dropped into the low 50’s and the mornings are cold, frosty and slow. Fish are not really biting until the sun hits the water. Power bait and worms are working the best. Mt. Lassen planted 750 lbs of trout at the public launch on the 12th. I don't know why we aren’t getting DFG trout plants but I’m going to look into it.
