Releases remain steady at 300 CFS. The water coming from the reservoir is crystal clear and remains that way all the way down to Pigeon Point. This last shot of rain boosted flow just above the North Fork to 900 from 600 CFS and added a touch of color, but the gauges are all showing a rapid clearing trend. There are fish in the system now, and the good news is these last rains should bring in some new fish. When it's clear and bright like it has been, look for fish to hold in deeper runs. Target the tailouts and shallow runs when it's cloudy and the river has some color in it.

You should check out our new spey rods. They are 13' of pure joy and happiness.
