Two derbies and the fish plants made for a very busy Veterans Day weekend here at Lake Camanche.

Fishing has been hit and miss at the pond and lake this past week but I guess that's why they call it fishing and not catching...check out what was brought in.

Those that reported favorite baits this week listed powerbait, rainbow powerbait, speedy shiners and rapala.

Bass have been plenty hot but small. Trout 1-4 lbs and good size crappie were also reported this week.

Just outside the buoy line at the dam, both north and south marina coves, south shore day use and the pond were all listed for best spots to fish this week.

1,500 lbs. of Mt Lassen trout were planted on Thursday 11/10/16 with 750 lbs. going into the pond and 750 lbs. to the north ramp.

We are expecting a delivery this week of 3,000 lbs. but have not been given the arrival details as of this report.
