It is Winter Steelhead time on the Upper Klamath River. My last few trips have solely been focusing on Steelhead now that the Salmon run has finally died off. We are seeing adult Steelhead in the 2 to 7 pound class 18 to 24 inches. We are averaging between 5 and 10 adult Steelhead with lots of smaller Steely/Trout mixed in . Backtrolling plugs (Hotshots, Rebel Crawdads, Brads wigglers) and bait have been working really well.
