The Rebel crawdad plug was king. Yesterday, I fished the Girarde's, John and his son John, on the Klamath river. They caught all out their fish on the Rebel crawdad plug while backtrolling. We fished down river past Horse creek and found the action to be on the slow side, we laned six fish the best being a 22-inch Wild Steely the rest were in the 10 to 16-inch range. I'll be back on the water tomorrow fishing up near the Irongate hatchery. The weather is pretty cold in the mornings now (20's) in the morning but warming up (40's) by afternoon.
