The Salmon are starting to show up at the Irongate hatchery. My friend Guy and I fished the upper Klamath River from the Hatchery to the Fishhook on Saturday and we saw a few Salmon but were unable to get any biters. We did have good success at hooking and landing a couple of nice 4-pound Steelhead, while bouncing roe. The Salmon fishing will get better as more fish show up to spawn, in the next few weeks. I have openings, so call now, if you want to get in on the action. The limit is 2 adult Salmon 22-inches and over, as well one Jack Salmon under 22-inches. You need to purchase Salmon and Steelhead report cards, along with your fishing license, to fish the Klamath River.
