Trout fishing should be improving with decreasing water temperatures. Warm water fishing should still be good. Under these conditions, good techniques include crappie jigs, worms under a bobber, and flies retrieved slowly behind a casting bubble (fished a couple of feet below the surface)

Bass fishing is also good right now with crank baits or top water lures in the morning, and tube jigs and plastics fished near submerged vegetation as the day goes on. Only one bass may be harvested per day at Lake Selmac.
