The catfishing has been good. We had one angler check in who had a 8 Catfish between 6 and 10 pounds. They were biting good on night crawlers. The water temp is 49 degrees. The bass fishing has been very slow. We heard of only a couple bass caught in the past week.

Not much has changed here since last week, most bass are suspended about 20’ down in the water column, and have been very difficult to catch. Crappie are also at the same depth, but seem to be a bit more willing to bite than the former. Plummeting water temps have put the bass bite on hold, with most fish suspending in 15’ to 25’ of water. Only a handful of fish were reported, most of which came on small swim baits.
