The lake is still closed for boating. Fishing has been slow here but few anglers are trying for catfish off the banks with chicken liver, mackeral, and anchovies with some success here and there. As for the bass fishing dropshot and other finesse tactice would be the best bets. Tons of bluegill are around! For a fun little bite soak a small redworm or waxworm under a bobber.
