I hit the water at Camanche with Josh Paris at about 6:45 from the north shore ramp. There are pretty much zero signs to lead you to the actual ramp and we had some trouble finding it. It is off to the right of the peninsula, not at the end of it. We started on the main body and did pretty well with a football jig and a vertical jigging spoon. I was throwing a green pumpkin and purple ½ ounce jig with a strike king rage menace trailer. We stuck a couple nice 3 pounders working those baits off of main lake points. We ran up river later in the day. We didn’t go too far and are best bait was still a jig and a spoon or drop shot if we started graphing fish. We later went out towards the dam and Josh caught a really nice spot on a rip bait. There was a lot of bait and fish seemed to be just about everywhere we went.
